Christy Taylor exits the PD/night host gig at Modern Rock XTRA-FM (91X)/San Diego. MD Robin Roth will serve as Interim PD while the station searches for its next PD.

PD/midday host Chris "The Ego" Firmage exits Modern Rock KFMA/Tucson. As a result, Larry Mac, PD/midday talent at Classic Rock sister KLPX is elevated to OM of KFMA and KLPX.

Save The Date: The 11th Annual T.J. Martell Foundation World Tour of Wine takes place in New York City on Thursday, November 20 at Capitale, located at 130 Bowery Lane. This year the event honors RUSH (band members will be in attendance) and Doug Shafer.

The 10th Annual Classic Rock Awards, known as the Classic Rock Roll Of Honour, has enlisted Sammy Hagar as this year's master of ceremonies. Traditionally held in London, the awards ceremony is coming to America for the first time on Tuesday, November 4 in Hollywood, CA. "The Classic Rock Roll Of Honour is one of music's coolest and most prestigious events in the U.K. so I'm really excited to be hosting it for the first time in the U.S.," said Hagar. "My goal is to keep it fun and filled with so many off-the-hook music moments that we put it on the map alongside the Grammys, VMAs and other awards ceremonies." Trophies will be handed out in categories such as Band of the Year, Album of the Year, and Classic Rock Radio Station of the Year.

Riviera Broadcasting-Phoenix has launced Soft AC 95.1 The Oasis, playing “Lite and Refreshing” music from artists such as Billy Joel, Madonna, Lionel Richie, Adele, Michael Buble, Kelly Clarkson, Elton John, Whitney Houston, The Eagles, Mariah Carey, and Phil Collins. 95.1 The Oasis promises 55 minutes of music every hour.

Alpha Media Dayton announces that Faith Daniels will be hosting afternoon drive on WROU, “Dayton’s R&B Leader” from 3- 7 p.m. WROU’s Skip Porter will assume the 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. timeslot.

SiriusXM announced today that 1987 Masters Champion Larry Mize will host a new monthly show on SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio (XM channel 93, Sirius channel 208). The Larry Mize Show will debut September 3 (2-3 p.m. ET) and air monthly throughout the year. On the program, Mize will take calls from listeners around the country and discuss the headline news from the world of golf.
