Coldplay
CBS Radio and Beats Music have teamed up to present a special intimate concert with Coldplay at The Theatre at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles on September 17 at 8:30 p.m. A live broadcast of the performance will be available by tuning in to CBS stations nationwide, or by downloading the Radio.com app. "Coldplay is one of the biggest bands on the planet and certainly one of the most successful for KROQ," stated Kevin Weatherly, SVP of Programming for CBS Radio and PD of KROQ/Los Angeles. "For more than a decade our stations have proudly presented events with unparalleled access to the band, and we are thrilled to create once again what will be a very special and memorable night for millions of Coldplay fans." Fans wanting to attend can win tickets through one of several CBS stations, or by entering a national promotion on Radio.com. Fans can also enter to win exclusive VIP "Beats Seats" by downloading Beats Music and visiting the Coldplay artist page.

After reports circulated that U2 is delaying a new album until 2015, a spokesperson for the band has told Rolling Stone that the news is inaccurate. "We've always said an album is expected this year," the source said. The news is consistent with reports in the Irish media that the album is coming out within the next few months, and Universal Music Venezuela and Universal Music Colombia briefly posted tweets saying the album was coming out in September. The Irish Times also quoted a source as saying there will be a new single from U2 in September, with the album to follow shortly thereafter.

Christina Aguilera has given birth to her second child. The singer and her fiancé, Matt Rutler, reportedly welcomed a new baby girl on August 16, according to US Weekly. The couple has not yet announced the name of their daughter. Aguilera also has a 6-year-old son, Max, from her first marriage to music executive Jordan Bratman.

B.o.B will embark on the No Genre Tour starting October 21 in Pensacola, FL. Joining B.o.B on the road will be Kevin Gates. The trek is currently scheduled through November 24 in New York, with more dates to be announced.

Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records has partnered with INgrooves for global distribution and marketing. The first release expected under the new deal is an EP by Pittsburgh-based rapper Chevy Woods. Other artists on the label include Juicy J, who is also an executive at the label, Ty Dolla $ign, Courtney Noelle, Tuki Carter and Berner.

Becky G will join Demi Lovato's world tour starting on September 14 in Miami. It was also previously announced that Becky G is going on Jason Derulo's Talk Dirty tour, which kicks off October 21 in New Jersey and wraps on November 2 in Miami. The 17-year-old singer, songwriter, and rapper is currently in the studio finishing her debut album.

Bob Seger will return with a new album, Ride Out, on October 14 via Capitol Records. The first single, "Detroit Made," pays homage to America's love affair with the automobile. "I feel really good about this record," says Seger. "This album touches on how I think a lot of us feel about finding our place in a more complicated world – from how we appreciate things as simple and pure as love, to navigating through the corruption and violence that permeates the news. It sums up a lot of feelings I have about a variety of subjects."
