Cox Media Group Tampa Names Dan Mason OM For HOT 101.5, 97X, 102.5 The Bone

Dan Mason
Cox Media Group (CMG) Tampa has named Dan Mason as Operations Manager for WSUN-FM (97X), WPOI-FM (HOT 101.5), and WHPT (102.5 The Bone), effective Sept. 8. Mason will also serve as HOT 101.5 WPOI-FM's Director of Branding and Programming.

“Dan's approach to programming is firmly in line with ours,” said Keith Lawless, CMG Tampa’s Vice President and Market Manager. “He is a welcome addition to our team, and I am confident his contributions will help us continue to compete and win.”

Previously, Mason served as Program Director of CBS Boston's WODS (103.3 Amp Radio). Other career highlights include Program Director for KDND (107.9 The End) and KBZC (Star 106.5)/Sacramento, WHYI (Y100)/Miami and WAKS (96.5 Kiss FM)/Cleveland.
