Bruce Springsteen has written a children’s book. Outlaw Pete will be published by Simon & Schuster on November 4 reports USA Today. Based on a song from Springsteen's 2009 Working On A Dream album, "Outlaw Pete" is "essentially the story of a man trying to outlive and outrun his sins," Springsteen says. Or, in this case, a bank-robbing baby. The Boss has now joined the ranks of Madonna, Jimmy Buffett and Carly Simon who have authored children's books. Illustrator Frank Caruso came up with the idea of turning "Outlaw Pete" into a book and contributed the artwork that accompanies Springsteen’s lyrics.

Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter John Legend will team up with Grammy Award-winning country star Lee Ann Womack next month when CMT presents an all-new episode of CMT CROSSROADS. Legend and Womack will meet and collaborate for the first time on the CMT CROSSROADS stage in Franklin, Tenn. CMT CROSSROADS: JOHN LEGEND AND LEE ANN WOMACK will premiere Friday, September 26 at 10 p.m. ET/PT only on CMT.

Shakira is pregnant! She confirmed the news on her Facebook page saying: “Yes, we are expecting our second baby!”
