Amber Cole joins CHR WNOH/Norfolk-Virginia Beach and will handle MD, afternoon drive and Imaging duties. Cole arrives from a swing post at CHR WDZH/Detroit.

Marci Burdick, SVP of Broadcasting for Schurz Communications, has been named a trustee of NABPAC, the political action committee of the National Association of Broadcasters, it was announced today. Burdick is a past chair of the NAB Television Board and the past-President and chairman of the NBC Affiliates Association, and currently serves as Vice Chair of the CBS Affiliate Board.

Vevo announces the forthcoming global launch of Vevo on Samsung Gear VR, a 3D virtual application designed specifically for Gear VR. Viewers in the US and Canada will be able to enjoy Vevo TV, the genre focused channels featuring 24/7 hand-curated music video programming. Internationally, viewers can enjoy a custom channel of localized international programming. All of this can be experienced on the full screen in a virtual theater
