iHeartMedia Top 40 outlet WRVW/Nashville (107.5 the River) announced to key station promotions today.  The station will be hosting a Bash Your Ex Ball on Valentine’s Day featuring a performance by Columbia Records artist Little Mix.  The free event will be on Valentine’s Day at Nashville’s historic Wildhorse Saloon.  “We had an opportunity to have Little Mix in ON Valentine’s Day…and since their song ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ is so popular, we just couldn’t resist,” comments Program Director Jonathan Shuford.  “We wanted to give our single listeners the opportunity to celebrate their independence with one of the hottest acts on the planet.”  The event starts at 3:00pm on February 14th.  It’s open to the public, but VIP meet & greet passes must be won through the radio station.  For more details click here.

In more River promo news, the station also announced that in conjunction with Chuy’s Restaurants there will be a Rockin’ for Kids Charity Concert on February 24th featuring Kaleo, with local supporting acts Goodbye June and Bruns.  100% of the proceeds from the event benefit the Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Shuford remarks, “Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital has been a partner charity for us for years, and we’ve raised over a million dollars for them through our ‘River of Hope Radiothon.  It’s an honor to team up with Chuy’s and put on an event that’s awesome for Nashville and for a cause that’s very near and dear to our hearts.” The event will be held at Marathon Music Works, and tickets can be purchase at 1075theriver.com or marathonmusicworks.com  For more information click
