Michael Bryan Joins CAA
January 31, 2017

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has announced that Michael Bryan has joined the company in a newly-created position within the Music department to focus on artist development and artist brand strategy. Based in Nashville, Bryan will work in collaboration with client teams across the agency’s roster to help cultivate the careers of emerging artists, from curating an act’s brand and developing their social and media marketing platforms, to liaising with managers, labels and radio programmers in support of album launches. Bryan will also identify and create new touring models with radio-based properties, expanding on CAA’s success with creating/packaging branded lifestyle tours, including 2016’s Ticket To Rock and the Vans Warped Tour.

With nearly two decades of radio programming experience, Bryan most recently served as SVP/Programming for iHeartMedia Nashville radio market, overseeing the on-air and online programming for the market’s six broadcast stations, branded digital sites. He helped break such artists as Ed Sheeran, Cam, Dan + Shay, Kelsea Ballerini, and Hozier through early radio exposure, and served as Executive Program Director for the top-rated nationally syndicated The Bobby Bones Show and The Tige & Daniel Show

“Michael has built a well-earned reputation as a savvy brand manager and radio programmer with a keen understanding of the music marketplace across multiple genres and proven ability to break an artist,” said Marc Dennis, Co-head of CAA Music’s Nashville operations. “His expertise and network of relationships complements our vast resources and suite of client service offerings, further enhancing opportunities we can provide artists.”

CAA Music’s Nashville team books such successful emerging and established country, rock, EDM, faith-based, and contemporary artists such as Zac Brown Band, Twenty One Pilots, Keith Urban, Dixie Chicks, John Mayer, Tim McGraw, Pretty Lights, Shania Twain, Maren Morris, Lady Antebellum, Kings of Leon, Kelly Clarkson, Sam Hunt, Little Big Town, The Chainsmokers, Brantley Gilbert, Kelsea Ballerini, plus many others. CAA leads all agencies in the four country music categories for the upcoming 59th Annual Grammy Awards, with clients accounting for 13 of the 20 nominees, including three of the five Best New Artist nominees.
