The Conclave Summer Learning Conference Sets Agenda for July
February 6, 2017

The Conclave, which celebrates 42 years of educating radio broadcasters this year, has released its agenda for the 42nd Conclave Summer Learning Conference., which will take place from July 26-28, 2017, at The DoubleTree by Hilton, Minneapolis - Park Place. The agenda for The Conclave 42 will focus heavily on revenue generating fundamentals and effective practices, how the “rule-breakers” win at ratings, strategic ways to operate in the digital, social and podcasting space with fewer resources, and many more relevant topics to the radio industry today.

The Conclave Summer Learning Conference will feature events back this year by popular demand, including the signature keynote session: “Ask Me ‘Almost’ Anything,” where radio’s respected leaders will take questions on radio’s opportunities and growth.

Also returning to this year’s conference is the third annual “Conclave Speed Mentoring Breakfast, where attendees have exclusive access to top programming, digital and marketing minds across the radio industry. Mentors that have given their time to share their advice with broadcasters at Conclave Speed Mentoring Breakfasts in the past few years include: Ginny Morris, Chair and CEO, Hubbard Broadcasting; Tony Coles, EVP, iHeartMedia; Jim Ryan, SVP, Programming, CBS Radio; and Erica Farber, President and CEO, Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB).

The Conclave Chair Lori Lewis said: “The Conclave Summer Learning Conference is all about access-- Access to the incredible industry minds we wouldn’t otherwise have opportunity to interact with and learn from. It’s also important to showcase today’s managers, programmers, and talent creating unique ways to ensure radio remains in the hearts (and in this mobile world) the hands of the fans.”
