Quick Hits: DJ Khaled / Beyoncé / Jay Z, Al Jarreau, WayHome Festival
February 13, 2017

DJ Khaled
Immediately following the Grammys last night, DJ Khaled surprised music fans with the release of a new single featuring Beyoncé and Jay Z. The track is titled "Shining" and is the first track from his upcoming new album Grateful, arriving later in 2017. In other post-Grammy Beyoncé surprise news, the Pop superstar unveiled individual videos for "Love Drought" and "Sandcastles," both of which first appeared as part of the visual component for last year's Lemonade.

Jazz/R&B musician Al Jarreau passed away over the weekend at the age of 76. Just last week he announced his retirement due to health issues. Jarreau's recognizable voice spanned a variety of Jazz, Pop and R&B hits over the decades, earning commercial success for his smash hit "We're In This Love Together," as well as the theme song to the '80s TV series Moonlighting. Jarreau won multiple Grammys over the years and became the only singer to win in the Jazz, Pop and R&B categories.

The WayHome Festival in Ore-Moedonte, Ontario, Canada has announced its lineup. Set for July 28-30, it is topped by Imagine Dragons, Frank Ocean, Solange, Tegan & Sara, The Shins, Phantogram, Flume, Vance Joy and many more.
