Mark Gray Named CEO of Katz Media Group
Katz Media Group has announced it has named highly respected media executive Mark Gray, to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Katz Media Group, overseeing both Katzís radio and television companies.

Gray, who most recently served as President of Katz Radio Group, has been a leader in the media industry for more than 25 years, focused on building a first-class media sales organization that delivers results for its broadcast partners and the nationís top brands.

In his new role as CEO, Gray will lead the Katz team of radio and television industry experts to deliver innovative ideas for advertisers and agencies, and drive revenue and operational results for Katzís partners.  He will also further develop Katzís technology and digital offerings, including bringing Katz to the forefront of the programmatic buying arena through Expressway from Katz, the first industry-wide programmatic ad buying exchange for broadcast radio.

ďMark has been a trusted partner for Katzís clients as well as an industry leader for many years, and we know he will continue to both successfully advocate for radio and TV and build their presence with major advertisers and agencies across the country,Ē said Rich Bressler, President, COO and CFO of iHeartMedia, Inc.

ďKatz is a longtime leader in the media industry, known for its exceptional sales team and their unparalleled ability to provide innovative expertise in audio and television solutions,Ē said Mark Gray, CEO of Katz Media Group.  ďIím both honored and excited to take on this role, and I look forward to continuing to help drive revenue and advocacy for our broadcast partners.Ē

Grayís tenure with Katz has included various management roles, including President of the Katz Radio division before being promoted to President of Katz Radio Group in 2006. Gray is a member of the Board of Directors for the Broadcasters Foundation of America; a member of the Radio Advertising Bureauís Executive Committee; and sits on the Board of Trustees for the Alliance for Women in Media.

Gray replaces Mark Rosenthal as CEO.  After nearly four years with the company, Rosenthal announced his decision to step down as CEO of Katz Media Group at the end of March.  Rosenthal will continue as an advisor to Bressler and iHeartMedia, Inc. CEO Bob Pittman.
