Pearl Jam have invited all of the band's past drummers to join them at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in April. Matt Chamberlain, Dave Abbruzzese and Jack Irons were left off but have been asked to be a part of the event on April 7. In a handwritten note posted online Saturday, Pearl Jam said, "We do feel fortunate to be recognized and provided the opportunity to reunite with everyone who has been part of the group. Specifically the drummers who all left their distinctive mark on our band in the pre-Matt Cameron years." Abbruzzese wrote online last fall how upset he was about his snub. The choice of which members join the Hall is solely up to the Rock Hall and not the band themselves.
