 Fall Out Boy
| Fall Out Boy has announced details of their new live CD/DVD, dubbed ****. Due April 8 via Island, the project will be available as a CD/DVD or a DVD only and was taped in June 2007 at Phoenix's Cricket Pavilion. In addition to the band's hits ("Sugar, We're Going Down," "Thanks Fr The Mmrs," "This Ain't a Scene, It's An Arms Race"), a mix of dance-worthy cover songs are also included, such as Akon's "Don't Matter," Timbaland's "One and Only," Panic At The Disco's "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies" and Michael Jackson's "Beat It." While most of the tracks are live, the Jackson cover is a studio version featuring a special guest guitarist yet to be revealed, says Billboard.com.
The DVD also will come with all eight of Fall Out Boy's music videos, a wealth of behind-the-scenes footage and a making-of segment for the "Me & You" video, which was filmed in Uganda.
Meanwhile, FOB singer Patrick Stump will appear on The Roots' 10th album, Rising Down, which is tentatively due in April. Stump sings on the chorus of the track "Birthday Girl," which will be the first single. "It's just an easy pop song," drummer ?uestlove told MTV News.
